On this historical day, Australia has got its first female prime minister after the last night coup against Kevin Rudd.
And on this blog, it is no different. Not that I planned a coup against Richard (still happily married, a whole six weeks, hooray! Isn't it amazing) but it took some battle to get him to let go of the picture management. And the quality drops like ten levels immediately. But it's not about aesthetics (sorry, dear); I want to show you our daily life here with all its (un)interesting details. And allright, I will practise on my camera skills, that's a promise!
So instead of a wonderful composition, this time the 'beast vehicle' we saw the other day: even the dogs have a cool surfdude attitude here, how about that! And speaking of our normal daily life, every morning at breakfast we have some guests staring through our kitchen window, giving quite a performance to get hold of that delicious honey they see on the table.
Our little domestic friends keep me company all day when Richard is out philosophizing, and the three of us pretend that we do the same. The results will be shown on this blog, together with (I'm afraid, in the start) some louzy pictures, but give me time, people! And your patience shall be rewarded. Australia is ready for it. Girlpower (without the plateau shoes and Victoria Beckham. She flew out the window when I opened it to feed my lorikeet friends.) Good on ya, mates!
