Inspiring cit(n)y

Allright, allright, hold your horses, people. I know it’s about time we put some text on this blog. Well, sometimes images say more than a thousand words… thanks to Richard and his amazing photography skills – and my everlasting patience to stop and hold on every darn corner. And before every bridge, bird, grasshopper, bus lane, hobo, pile of stones, skyscrapers, skyscrapers, skyscrapers, skyscrapers, skyscrapers, skyscrapers….I know. And you’re welcome.

Back to text. The misty clouds of jetlag are finally damped and as so, I return to my pen and paper (mostly just the computer, but I like the image of me glazing over the Sydney skyline with a crispy fresh paper and fountain pen loose in the hand, ‘nosetipped glasses’ and takeaway cappuccino to complete the image, of course (no more jetlag, but dream on, honey.)

And isn’t Sydney inspiring? Yes, it is. I could write on and on about our first encounters here, with the city and its people. And I will, later on. For now, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves and grab the opportunity to say THANKS to family and friends, for all your support and enthusiasm (or attempt to;))!

You made - and make - us enjoy this adventure even more and we are glad to get to share it with you. Hope you like Barbie, Beer and more Down Under stories, because that’s what you’re gonna get on zitnie.blogspot.com (and if not, just look at the pics, one never gets bored of amazing birds and skyscrapers, that is, if you don’t have to wait 45 minutes in front of them.) Enjoy, cheers!
