Sorry loyal readers, for all the times you glanced at this page and again, stayed unrewarded for your trouble. Fact is, I’m kinda busy starting up my new carrier: being a guinea pig at Uni. Sounds rather scary, but no worries, these brain scans are perfectly save (as long as you don’t wear metal – glad I didn’t ever opt for the Marilyn Manson look) and the pointing study turned out to be a great ego-booster: even after a big night out, my scores were good enough for an A-status guinea pig. Triumph!
But back to blogging issues…. did I mention something about a Manly Walk part III? There is none, actually, or I should add that we walked until 5 pm (‘Bullocks, where is that Spit Bridge when you need it? When we finally reached it, we could see where it got its name. Nothing to be very excited about, but the Ocean Route was spectacular enough to give us a thrill that lasted for days.
On Spit Bridge, Mr. Zitnie and I took the bus back to Manly, where we used our last strength to walk beyond the close-packed crowds and overflowing cafes. And got rewarded with a laidback ‘European stylish’ bar where we enjoyed some well-deserved drinks and tasty tapas and enjoyed the DJ’s live sets. We’ll definitely come back here soon!
Sunday, we went to Newtown and did some coffee and strolling about King Street – packed with cool bars, pubs and eateries and the best vintage shops in town. See pics. And dear readers: summer hasn’t even begun!
