Having a conversation with a random person on a bench in Hyde Park

Somewhere halfway through our conversation he asks: So what do you do?
Me: I’m a PhD student in philosophy
He: What?! Really? You don’t look like one
Me: Why is that?
He: You wear sunglasses and don’t have a beard or freckles
Me: laughing out loud and asking: so what do you do?
He: I’m unemployed
